INGREDIENTS: Hay Straw Cattle Manure Horticultural Grade Peat and may include bark, top%20soil, and amendments. SCIENTIFICALLY CONTROLLED PRODUCTION... Each batch of compost is carefully monitored for quality and proper curing. Heated to 150 degrees F at least six times assures destruction of harmful pathogens and weed seeds. Jolly Farmer's production site has been provincially approved by the New Brunswick Department of the Environment. Three wet cells border the composting pad caring for any seepage thus protecting the environment. WHY USE COMPOST... 1. Adds organic matter to the soil thus loosening heavy soils. 2. Helps soil hold water so not as much water is required in growing crops. 3. Compost attracts earthworms which aerate and enrich garden soil. 4. Compost harbors friendly bacteria which help keep plants healthy. USES OF COMPOST... 1. Use on garden plots of all types... vegetable, flower, herb, perennial, strawberry beds, etc. 2. Use around ornamental and fruit trees and berry bushes. 3. Native vegetation has been planted around the perimeter of each cell to aid in the process. Each batch of compost is thoroughly cured and carefully monitored throughout the manufacturing process.
